Save your precious time, energy, and mental bandwidth by identifying your roadblocks and blazing a trail forward.
You're a smart cookie. You're self aware. You're keeping the trains running on time (most of the time). And yet, there are still practices, routines, or activities you're craving to fit into your busy life that you know will make you feel better, work smarter and not harder.
Does this sound like you?
You're struggling to find the time to commit to change even when you’ll feel better when you do.
There’s at least one activity or practice that you know will make you feel great. Maybe this activity was once in the routine, even habitual, but the shape of your life changed and you want to make it apply to your life now. You're yearning to get started, but haven’t taken that first step.
You put off figuring out how or when to start that one thing because you've got many pressing priorities.
You also know that putting it off is at a cost: your peace, strength, confidence, and maybe even your dollars.
You plan to get to it tomorrow, next week, next month, next season. Then before you know it, it's next year and you're still wondering why you haven't made time for that workout routine, meditation practice, fun social activity.
You are certain that your quality of life will significantly improve if you could make that time for yourself, but it's a struggle to get it going. Well here’s the thing:
You're human, you're busy juggling many beautiful things in your life, and you're not alone.
I've been there too. Many times. It’s the reason health coaching was appealing to me and ultimately why I decided to become one—to help people like you find the balance and ease amid a busy, full life.
One of the most profound shifts happened about a decade ago for me. I yearned to be a person who had a consistent meditation practice because I knew it would make me feel grounded, connected to myself and more peaceful overall. It was a "one day..." dream that I didn't take any action on, even though I was aware of the many benefits I was missing out on by delaying it. It nagged at me, but I ignored it. Then a mentor showed up, showed me the way, helped build my confidence and made me feel accountable to starting a short, manageable practice that then became a daily routine. And that routine is one I've stuck with since 2016. I built the ritual I had yearned for and now feel the benefits I had once felt were out of reach.
Having someone with you on the journey to help you see your own strengths, help identify what’s holding you back, and walk shoulder-to-shoulder with you as you try on new routines, activities, or practices can make a world of difference, no matter what you’re working through.
Now imagine
What would your life feel like if you addressed that nagging call that you know will improve your well-being? What would it be like it you took small, consistent action and felt the benefits you're yearning to feel? Perhaps you see yourself:
getting up early a few times each week to go for a rigorous stroll in the cool morning air around your neighborhood while listening to your favorite podcast and watching the sunrise.
going on monthly outings with your partner or bestie where you can connect uninterrupted over a beautiful meal or a leisurely bike ride.
consistently waking up energized after a restful night of sleep, having established a simple, but luxurious bedtime routine.
It’s time to start feeling this way.

“I loved how Rachael asked the questions that I would avoid asking myself. She is extremely intuitive and was able to get to the root of what I was struggling with in a calm and supportive way.”
“Said most simply, she helped me get unstuck. When I started working with her, I was completely overwhelmed and knew I was not “well”... Through her warm, upbeat, and confident presence, I knew I had a partner in figuring this out. Rachael helped me take a step back, consider the full picture and identify things that were contributing to my inability to execute on what I thought was so straight forward. Now I’m aware of my opportunity areas, feeling in control and confident in executing.”

Intrigued, but not sure if this is right for you?
You have quality expectations and a high standard for both good service and the right fit, especially when working one-on-one. It’s natural (and expected) to want to be certain of something before committing.
That’s why we start with a quick chat. We’ll use the 20-minute discovery call to answer questions and to make sure it feels right for you. Then it’s up to you! You can choose whether you'd like to commit to the coaching series or not. If the series doesn’t seem like the right fit, then no need to go further. Low commitment, low risk, your choice.
Does a series of sessions feel like a drain on the calendar?
The goal is to keep this process as doable as possible for you given your existing commitments. If you decide to commit to the series, we’ll:
kick-off the series and schedule the first session when timing is right for you.
schedule the remaining sessions at a pace that make sense for your schedule—meeting every 1-3 weeks—and during the days and times that work best for you.
I ask for 24-hour notice if rescheduling is needed, but also understand that life doesn’t always give us a 24-hour heads-up. In those (let’s face it: sometimes inevitable) cases, just let me know as soon as you can and we’ll work together to find a better time.
This Coaching Series is:
not for you if you:
want a one-size-fits-all approach to making change.
want to be told how to make changes.
aren't interested in consistently showing up for yourself.
perfect for you if:
you'd like to break a cycle and take action on something that you know will make you feel in-line with your greatest self, but don't know how, when, or where to start.
you're willing to consider how you best operate so you can lean into your strengths.
you'd like support and accountability through transitions.
you're ready to intentionally make changes to enhance the quality of your life, health, and well-being.
Now consider:
Will you keep missing out on feeling your best?
Will you stay in the vicious "one day..." cycle for the rest of your precious days?
Will you keep putting your needs lower and lower on your priority list?
Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need to start right after committing?
Since the goal is to make this doable for you, you can set your start date based on what’s realistic for you.
How often will we meet?
Typically, meeting every 1-2 weeks is ideal to keep the change momentum going. Since coaching is centered on what works best for you, we’ll discuss what cadence fits best given your schedule.
I'm stuck in a few places; can I work through all of them?
To ensure ample time to address your needs and success with changes, I recommend working through 1-2 areas of focus at a time. If there are more than 1-2, we’ll discuss how to prioritize focus areas.
What if I need more than 5-6 coaching sessions?
Before we meet for the closing session, we will assess together if more sessions are needed and can meet for more check-in sessions before meeting for the closing session.
Does insurance cover the cost of health coaching?
While it is expected to change in the near future, health insurance currently does not cover the cost of health coaching. It might be helpful to review policies for your health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA) or health reimbursement account (HRA) if you have them.
You mentioned coaching sessions can be virtual or in-person. How does that work?
Virtual appointments are held via Zoom. If you’re local to Wilmington, NC and prefer to meet in-person, sessions can be held at Porters Neck Yoga and Bhavana Community (106 Marshall Ct, Wilmington, NC 28411).
