Ready to find more time and space for yourself and the things you value most?

I see you: you're juggling all the things in your full life, your calendar is organized and color-coded, and you're using all your resources to manage the needs of your work, family, health and social life. There's so much activity that weeks pass before you're able to make time for that book on your nightstand, that language you’ve been wanting to learn, that trip you’ve been wanting to take. You wish you could magically have more time to devote to enjoying the activities and people you love.

The last thing you want is to arrive at your next milestone birthday feeling depleted, looking back and regretting not spending more time on the things that matter most to you. You know there’s got to be a way to feel some balance. You’re certain that ignoring this will cost you peace, joy, and fulfillment, but you're not sure how to make it possible or where to start.

I get it because I’ve been there too.

I've run myself into the ground taking on more than I could handle, not being clear on my priorities, and putting the needs of others above mine. Let me tell you, I’ve paid the high cost of stress and overwhelm as a result. The worst part was looking back on a span of time and thinking, “Wait, why didn’t I ever follow-through with X?” It took me a long time to discover the recipe that worked for me so that I didn’t feel exhausted, overrun and not enough. Having felt the difference, I'm committed to helping you find your own recipe to feeling more in-balance and in the right groove.

So how can we course-correct?

Take a moment to daydream about what it would feel like to have more balance, to have a handle on the "musts" and have time for yourself to create, learn, relax, enjoy. What might that look like for you? What might it feel like? Pretty dreamy to imagine, right? Like your shoulders can relax and you can exhale a little easier? Let’s make this a reality for you.

Here’s how others have benefited from coaching

Rachael helped me take a step back, consider the full picture and identify things that were contributing to my inability to execute on what I thought was so straight forward. Now I’m aware of my opportunity areas, feeling in control and confident in executing.
— Coaching client
I loved how Rachael asked the questions that I would avoid asking myself. She is extremely intuitive and was able to get to the root of what I was struggling with in a calm and supportive way.

Intrigued, but not sure if this is right for you?

You have a high standard for quality, good service and the right fit, especially when working one-on-one. It’s natural and expected to want to be certain of something before committing.

That’s why we start with a quick chat. We’ll use the 20-minute discovery call to discuss what you’ve noted in the interest form and answer questions and to make sure it feels right for you. Then it’s up to you! You can choose whether you'd like to commit to a coaching package or not. Low commitment, low risk, your choice.

Does a package of sessions feel like a drain on the calendar?

The goal is to keep this process as doable as possible for you given your existing commitments. If you decide to commit to the package, we’ll:

  • kick-off the package and schedule the first session when timing is right for you.

  • schedule the remaining sessions at a pace that make sense for your schedule, meeting every 1-3 weeks and during the days and times that work best for you.

I ask for 24-hour notice if rescheduling is needed, but also understand that life doesn’t always give us a 24-hour heads-up. In those (let’s face it: sometimes inevitable) cases, just let me know as soon as you can and we’ll work together to find a better time.

Let's get started!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need to start right after the discovery call?

Since the goal is to make this doable for you, you can set your start date based on what’s realistic for you.

If I decide to purchase a coaching package after our discovery call, what happens next?

I’ll send a contract that details what we’ve discussed in our discovery call including number of sessions, session dates, payment information and confidentiality terms. I’ll also send calendar invitations for our sessions and preparation forms to use if you’d like to note your thoughts between sessions.

How often will we meet?

Typically, meeting every 1-2 weeks is ideal to keep the change momentum going. Since coaching is centered on what works best for you, we’ll discuss what cadence fits best given your schedule.

I'm stuck in a few places; can I work through all of them?

To ensure ample time to address your needs and success with changes, I recommend working through 1-2 areas of focus at a time. If there are more than 1-2, we’ll discuss how to prioritize focus areas.

What if I need more than 5-6 coaching sessions?

Before we meet for the closing session, we will assess together if more sessions are needed and can meet for more check-in sessions before meeting for the closing session.

Does insurance cover the cost of wellness coaching?

While it is expected to change in the near future, health insurance currently does not cover the cost of wellness coaching. It might be helpful to review policies for your health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA) or health reimbursement account (HRA) if you have them. Also, small business owners often bill wellness coaching as a wellness or professional development expense.

How is wellness coaching different than therapy?

Wellness coaching explores how to identify desired changes and set goals to make those changes over time. We’ll focus on your present lifestyle and your desired future lifestyle, your strengths, and how to use these strengths to achieve your goals.
