Hi, I’m Rachael

In my early 20s, I felt unmoored while navigating the hustle and the identity shift of living in NYC after moving from the beaches of North Carolina. I needed something to help ground me during the transition and while trying to keep my head above water at my first corporate job in publishing. I turned to yoga and soon discovered that the movement/breath union that yoga offers is exactly what I needed. Practicing made me feel comfortable and strong in my body—something I hadn’t experienced much before—and encouraged me to lead with curiosity.

Later, while living in LA, I went deeper and took a teacher training at Santa Monica Yoga, where I started teaching in 2016. I found that the creative, physical and communal aspects of practicing and teaching yoga helped offset my 9-5 (and my hour-long commute along LA freeways). Since then, I’ve devoted my spare time to learning even more health and well-being modalities that bring a sense of strength, nourishment, joy, and balance so that I can both embody these effects and share them.

We all deserve to be heard, supported, and empowered in all seasons of life. Whether it’s through wellness coaching, yoga, meditation, or Pilates, consider me your resource to help you make space for yourself and the things you value most.
