Hi, I’m Rachael

In my early 20s, I felt unmoored while navigating the hustle, sensory overload, and identity shift of living in NYC after moving from the beaches of North Carolina. I needed something to help ground me and connect me to me. I turned to yoga and soon discovered that the movement/breath union that yoga offers is exactly what I needed. Practicing made me feel comfortable and strong in my body—something I hadn’t experienced  much before—and more aware of my thoughts and emotions.

Seeking yoga studios and communities has been something I’ve carried with me wherever I’ve lived or traveled and while living in LA in my 30s, I went deeper and took a teacher training at Santa Monica Yoga, where I started teaching in 2016. Since then, I’ve devoted my spare time to learning more health and well-being modalities that bring a sense of strength, nourishment, joy, and balance so that I can both embody these effects and share them.

I believe we all deserve to be heard, supported, and empowered in all the seasons of life and feel especially called to support women in midlife as they navigate the many demands of family, work, life, and health and well-being. Whether it’s through health coaching, yoga, meditation, or Pilates, consider me your resource to help you make space for yourself and the things you value most.
